libscalapack-pvm-dev software package provides Scalable Linear Algebra Package - Dev. files for PVM, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libscalapack-pvm-dev
libscalapack-pvm-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libscalapack-pvm-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libscalapack-pvm-dev *
You will get with libscalapack-pvm-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
